Sports medicine is the focus on prevention and treatment of injuries and illnesses related to sports and exercise. It includes the management of acute injuries, such as fractures and sprains, as well as chronic conditions, such as tendonitis and osteoarthritis. We work with athletes and active individuals to optimize their performance and prevent injuries, as well as to help them recover from injuries and return to their activities as soon as possible.

We use Chiropractic care in conjunction with exercise and manual therapy to provide the best benefit.

Massage therapy is often used to treat a wide variety of conditions, from chronic pain and anxiety to sports injuries and post-operative recovery.
Stretch therapy involves stretching the body's muscles and tissues in a gentle and controlled way. Stretch therapy can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other forms of physical therapy or medical treatment. It is great for arthritis, back pain, and sports injuries, and can also be beneficial for overall relaxation and wellness.
A sports physical, or pre-participation physical exam, is conducted to assess an individual's overall health and physical readiness to participate in sports or other physical activities. The goal of a sports physical is to ensure that an individual is healthy enough to participate in physical activity safely, and to identify any potential health concerns that may need to be addressed before beginning a new sport or physical activity. Scraping, or Gua Sha or Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) uses specialized instruments to identify tension and adhesions within the muscles, tendons, and ligaments. We use these blade like instruments to apply pressure and give a deep tissue massage. These strokes aim to break down the scar tissue and adhesions so that the tissues can return to normal function. The purpose is to increase range of motion, flexibility, and overall function in soft tissue injuries. It can also aid in treating conditions such as tennis elbow, runner's knee, and Achilles tendonitis.
Compression therapy increases circulation in order to reduce soreness and helps you maintain your full range of motion, leaving you fresh and limber.
